Monday, December 15, 2008. Arrival in New Zealand / Arrivée en Nouvelle Zelande. Well, we just love New Zealand. We had a good 6 1/2 day crossing from Fiji. Lots of motoring and then some really strong wind. By the end we were very ready to be on land for a long time. After one week in Opua, we decided to go down to Whangarei. On our way, we stopped in some beautiful islands and we went fishing for mussels and oysters…. we had a feast! Austin and Diana took off to start their new life in New Zealand....
