OBPFD Hydrant and Well map. OBPFD Hydrant and Well map. The Ocean Bay Park Fire District was established in 1931. Its stated purpose was to insure the safety of it residents and homes. Over the past 82 years the District through the Ocean Bay Park Fire Department has been successful in achieving that goal, and we look forward to maintaining those goals for many years to come.

The Auxiliary serves as the fundraising arm of the Fire Department and fosters awareness within the community as to the importance of a robust Fire Department. What started out as a small group of women supporting their firefighter husbands has grown into a robust organization of 52 women and men.
