From San Francisco take Golden Gate Bridge and continue up Highway 101 to the East Washington Street exit at Petaluma. East Washington Street will turn into Bodega Bay Highway which will lead to Highway One via the town of Bodega Bay. Continue north on Highway One through the town of Jenner. Ocean Cove Campground is fifteen miles north of Jenner.

Ocean Cove Store and Campground. Ocean Cove was first surveyed by J.C. Conway under instructions from the United States Surveyor General on October 18, 1860. It then bordered the southern edge of Rancho German which is now Salt Point Park. At that time the property was owned by Fred and Anna Liebig, the first recorded owners.
