Fergus Prescott and OceanCraft. Fergus Prescott is the principal surveyor of OceanCraft and has been involved in the yachting industry for more than 30 years. He has a Diploma in Small Craft Surveying with Accreditation in Power and Sail Leisure Vessels, and holds full Professional Indemnity Insurance. He has always maintained his interest in classic wooden yachts and currently sails his 1958 Hillyard ,“Vigo” in his home waters of Southern Turkey.

This will show the level of moisture in the hull behind the gelcoat indicating whether osmosis is present or likely to become a problem.
