Sunday, March 1, 2009. Gold Creek Trail at Green Mountain February 21. Last week my son, and youngest daughter hiked the Gold Creek Trail. To the top of Green Mountain. We started at the trail head around 10am and there was still frost on the ground. We arrived at the summit around 11:30. My daughter, myself, and my son at the summit. Snow at the summit. Should have brought food to have a lunch at one of the picnic tables. We returned via the Plummer. Trail and noticed many rhododendrons.

Sunday, March 1, 2009. Guillemot Cove February 28. Yesterday my wife and I took a short hike in the Guillemot Cove Nature Reserve. Near Seabeck, WA. We started at the trail head around 11am. Downed tree across trail. After about a 1 mile hike down to the cove we saw water across the Beach House Trail. Crossing the bridge we discovered the reason. The beavers have been busy. Beaver dam across Boyce Creek. After wading through more muddy water across the trail we arrived at the beach and took in the view.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Anthon has really got into rock climbing this summer. In June he bought some of his own rock climbing equipment. He bought a rope, some shoes, a couple of harnesses, and some carabiners. After we got his gear he had to go lead climbing, which is when you don't top rope. There is nothing to protect him from falling until the first place he clips in. Clipping in to the first spot. Taking a fall.luckily he was clipped in! He made it to the top! Wednesday, January 25, 2012. So I have been taking pictures every week since Week 20! I thought it would be fun to see how I am growing and then compare it to the next time I get pregnant. After the first week Anthon said I should wear the same shirt in every picture so that you can see the difference every week, so the next week I chose one of the maternity shirts my grandma bought me when we were in WA. Wednesday, December 12, 2012. This past Saturday we had Lexie try rice cereal for the first time! It was fun to watch her reactions. She didn't seem to like it but I don't blame her. I wouldn't want to eat plain mashed up rice either! We went to AZ for Thanksgiving this year. We were just going to stay in Rexburg but a few weeks before his family found a way to pay for us to get there. We got some cheap plane tickets from Allegiant Air so we were able to fly instead of drive for once!
