Oceans United is an international forum of organisations interested in ocean observations founded by, and under the leadership of, the Partnership for Observation of the Global Oceans (POGO). It is intended to provide a common voice for participating entities on marine matters, especially those related to observing the ocean for societal benefit, and to be a clearing house for information of mutual interest. It can be seen as the 'Voice of the Oceans'. This task is called Oceans and Society: Blue Planet.
