A mortuary of inspiration and shiny things. Tuesday, 10 May 2011. Oh, God. You're gonna eat me soon, aren't you? The action takes place in a snowstorm, in the sleepy town of Pontypool. Pretty much the entirety of the film is set in a radiostation, where most things are not seen but heard in a series of chilling and delightfully creepy reports. Eventually the disease is experienced first hand, and when actual visual violence is witnessed it has all of a more sinister impact. I don't want to dispel anymore...

The octophant is a splendid beastie favoured by many an illustrator. This image of it though has to be the most excellent, combining a sense of the sinister mixed with a dash of humour.
