Trail Running and Tough Mudder Enthusiasts. When not running the trails of the Las Vegas valley, I work full-time as a User Experience Engineer for The Active Network. I tend to go full kamikaze running downhill sections as fast as I can, and aspire to run at least a 50-mile ultra and compete in World's Toughest Mudder in my lifetime. With 2012 now in our rearview mirror and all the new experiences it gave us, we want to do a quick look back at what we achieved and set some goals to reach for in 2013.

Mc Way Falls is located off of highway 2 in beautiful Big Sur, California. The waterfall, which is actually a tidefall because it empties into the ocean, is one of two in the region. The other being Alamere Falls up near San Francisco, Ca. This is a short quarter mile hike along a cliffside trail. It is perfect for persons of all ages. At 80 ft tall waterfall is a stunning sight!
