We headed up to Solvang Saturday morning in the rain all the way to catch the time trial. We parked at Andersens, checked into our room, then headed out to the course. Rain gear, Bleh! The currently accepted strategy in use today to mitigate the deleterious effects of excessive exercise is to assume a horizontal position on the couch and become inert. The OC Velo Daily. I Ride Therefore I Am. Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Yeah yeah I know. never ride with 5000 other people who can't shift, ride in a group, and/or have aero bars. But me and smilin' Rob, looking for something to do with out needing bail money, ended up at the start line with a number and a case of frost bite. But, the sun came out, no one got in a wreck, and the slow people are still probably walking their bikes up the hill. The worst part of the whole trip was having to stay in Santa Barbara.
