Here is another interesting alternative to classic basil pesto. Arugula pesto makes a fantastic sauce for any pasta dish, salads or sandwiches. It has a fresh, nutty, a bit spicy (arugula has a bit of spiciness) and creamy flavor. 4 cups packed fresh arugula. 2 cloves garlic , chopped. 1/2 tsp ground pepper. 1 cup pure olive oil. 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan.

The classic would be a Gin martini, but yes you could use vodka to make a vodka martini as well. 2 1/2 ounces gin ( or vodka). Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice cubes. Mix thoroughly and serve in a martini glass with olives. I usually have at least 3-5 olives in my drink! And try stuffed olives. My favortie is Jalapeno stuffed olives. So yummy!
