She has been obsessed with her older sister for months. Myra wants to be an artist just like Ciera and has been asking when she planned to visit. Ciera did a gel pen tattoo on Myra. But, for some reason, we have been swimming almost every weekend this summer. It’s partly because friends have invited us and partly because Myra is fairly independent in the water. I was thinking maybe ten shots or so. Nope, I took 72. 72 pictures of people hanging out a home, opening merchandise and eating way too much. Myra and Stella Markowski High, abridged. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Turns out Saturday was Colorado’s 139th birthday. What better way to celebrate the birth of our great state than find something free to do. Ethan found us a great free day at the Colorado History Museum to enjoy. The museum had a bunch of free shows and fun stations to explore. Alec got to participate in the rope show by showing off his scout handshake and learning the cow milking handshake. Using the giant markers. 10 on the 13th.

Myra and Stella Markowski High, abridged. Monday, August 25, 2014. Back to School (a week late on posting…). Myra started 1st grade and Stella entered Pre-K on Monday. Stella was bouncing off the walls excited. She insisted she get a new dress and wanted new shoes (we did the dress, not shoes). Myra, on the other hand, was a bit nervous for a new teacher. But, in the end, she said the first day of 1st grade was a lot better than the first day of Kindergarten. Here’s to another year! This cutie pie warned...
