Friday, December 30, 2005. The header image is back, thanks to Flickr! I got the idea of hosting it there after remembering that Dan ( Suitcasing. Does this too, for some of his photos. :). Went to New Paris in SS2 for dinner just now; ordered some of the usual dishes (stirfried spinach, ribs in Chinese barbeque sauce, the restaurant's specialty tofu) and a fish dish. steamed talapia with spicy sauce. Saturday, April 29, 2006. My arm's feeling better and better. I've taken to removing my cast at home now, but it's always on when I go out, so people are more careful around me. Range of motion is still limited though, but I'm pushing it a little more every day. Can't wait to get back to dancing again! Sunday, August 13, 2006. It's a lovely lazy weekend for me. lots of sleep and surfin. :P I don't know what made me look up Snakes on a Plane. SoaP), that notoriously-titled movie starring Samuel L Jackson. The actor famously accepted the lead role in SoaP on the strength of the title alone, and demanded that the (working) title be retained when the studio tried to change it to the pretty boring Pacific Air Flight 121. Saturday, January 20, 2007. Back in KL for nearly 2 weeks now. Fortunately, the weather wasn't scorching as I'd feared. Was back at work the day after I arrived, jumping in with two feet. still haven't really gotten back in the groove yet, and I feel more disenchanted the more time I spend there. Tuesday, July 18, 2006. Goodbye, Powerpoint pencils! One of the reasons why most of the stock was gone in half an hour was because people just grabbed whatever they could from the MAC (and Bobbi Brown) counter, then squatted down somewhere to sort out what they want and what they don't. Wednesday, June 07, 2006. My desk at work is awash with invitations: cocktail receptions, press conferences, signing ceremonies, fashion shows, art gallery launches, parties. These past 2 weeks have been completely packed with assignments, both day and night ones. I've come down with a mild flu, due to the strain, I think. This job keeps me busy without being too challenging though. Also found out we'll be getting more dance gigs. Hurrah! It's great being back in the scene! I'm currently reading On Beauty.
