Six Januarys that seemed to pass so slowly by. Six spring breaks, grateful a respite before the final leg of the year. Six Junes, where we counted down the days and cleaned up the classroom before saying our goodbyes. It's always hard to say goodbye, but particularly to this place and these people. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Every trip I've made back to Saipan (after initially moving there in 2006) has always been an emotional experience - lonely. In need of healing. And a multitude of other emotions. Today, as I once again set out to make the trek, my heart is filled and overflowing with an abundance of happy and positive emotions - I'm excited to spend the next two weeks sharing my beautiful island with Matt! Saipan is the home. Ive been following your Saipan vacation on FB. Yay!

Tuesday, 12 August 2014. My Dad's cousin Peter Aalten married a wonderful lady by the name of:. On August 8th she celebrated her 100th Birthday. She lives in Powell River BC. It is on the main land, but it takes 2 ferry boats to get there. Here is some of the beautiful scenery, on the trip. Friday afternoon at 1 pm a tea for local friends and family.
