Oxford and District Schools Sailing Association. Stage 3 & 4. By the end of this introductory course, you will have a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and some experience of steering and handling the boat. During the course you can expect to be learning skills as listed below. Able to rig a boat with assistance. Launching and recovering a boat from the water. Basic parts of the boat. Understands how to control the speed of the boat. Understands how to steer the boat.

All boats need to be insured and in good servicable condition – the warden may request unused/unservicable boats be removed). Qualified Instructor = TBC. Taster Sessions = 12.50 per person per 2hr session. Increased Usage Charge = 10 per session.
