I’m sure that’s a common remark during the last weekend of summer (I know…summer’s not over from a seasonal standpoint until September 21, but for practical purposes, it’s pretty much a done deal). At one point he called “who’s the VE3”, I quickly keyed the mic and gave my call phonetically twice. But….alas is was another VE3 near Hamilton who managed to make the contact. Sunday, June 27, 2010. The Quinte Amateur Radio Club. And Prince Edward Radio Club. Again joined forces this year for Field Day. Ran as a 2A (Two Alpha) operation, utilizing generator power.
