Thursday, March 24, 2011. I think I owe an explanation as to why this blog has sucked since February 20th. There actually is a reason, I have not just grown lazy. I must be careful/vague in how I word this, as the explanation involves future operations. Saturday, June 25, 2011. I made one other "end of the deployment" purchase today. It is a very small way of saying thank you so much to my beautiful wife and best friend.Jessica. On behalf of the kids and I.Thank you baby! Again, it's not much. Finding 'nice' things in Afghanistan can be challenging! 2 sets of lapis earrings, a lapis bracelet and an aquamarine gemstone.all native to Afghanistan. My SUPER neighbor, Liz, let me borrow her laptop today so I could get the neccesities taken care of (bills) and I have a friend looking at my computer tomorrow. I'm hoping it's an easy fix, if not.I'll have to TRY to live without it until Lee gets home with his laptop. SAD! Oh well, that's all for now. 27 days IF anyone wants to count with me :).

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. But they were already closed. So, we checked into the downtown Marriott and relaxed. Yes, just sitting in a hotel room with NO kids is SO relaxing these days. Next we headed to Dos Rios for guacamole and margaritas. I think we were asleep by 11:00, so it wasn't a crazy night out, but it was much needed and a great time! LOVE Dos Rios Margaritas! I came home to THIS! A night away is great, but who wouldn't want to come home to these two? He's sure moving up in the world :).
