Finding Health and Fitness. Thursday, May 7, 2015. December – April Giant Catch Up Post. I cannot believe how long it has been since I’ve blogged. It just became so easy to let the time get away from me and put it off until another day. In fact, in our part of the world temperatures have been well above freezing all week and there is no white to be seen. I cant complain. I love winter. I wouldnt want winter to feel like this every year, but after the horribly cold and snowy winters weve lived through here the last couple of years.Ill take an easy one this year. So we get the snow (and the snow days! Last week we gathered at Buffalo Ski Club. I finish...

Blue House School - Homeschooling one sweet girl!: Home Art Studio: Second Grade - "Color Wheel"
http://bluehouseschool.blogspot.com/2015/08/home-art-studio-second-grade-color-wheel.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. Home Art Studio: Second Grade - "Color Wheel". Lured by pretty projects and clean design, I was so very tempted to switch our art program to lessons by Deep Space Sparkle. Last year, we used Home Art Studio. A fairly new DVD-based leveled art program) for the first time. Tessa greatly enjoyed it and I found it easy to use. At just under thirty dollars retail, it's an excellent value for homeschoolers. We used First Grade. Tessa outlined her color wheel in black to make it pop.

The ramblings and dabblings of a stay-at-home mama.what's not to like? A Homeschool Update: Fall 2013. We've officially completed term one and moved on to term two. I am both loving Ambleside. And feeling absolutely overwhelmed by it. These first 12 weeks have been a learning curve for both Piper and I. There have been days that have been rich and beautiful and exactly what I want our homeschool to be. There have been other days where I've wanted to throw in the towel and switch curriculum. I love seeing...

http://www.familyfaithandfridays.com/2015/08/home-art-studio-review.html
Family, Faith, and Fridays. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Home Art Studio- Review. I am going to be honest and just tell you up front I am not an Art person. I am not good at it, therefore I do not enjoy teaching it. I also may have a slight neat freak thing going on, so lots of random (and sparkly) art supplies make be break into a cold sweat. Yay Home Art Studio! K-5th, each one focusing on a specific theme. She. Up with an art supplier that lists each of the supplies needed according to the grade you us...

http://thebigwhitefarmhouse.blogspot.com/2015/08/learning-our-homeschool-curriculum.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. Learning} Our Homeschool Curriculum Choices for 2015-2016. Today is our first day of school! Last year, I went with a boxed curriculum, but ended up tweaking it to fit our needs. For this year, I pieced together a curriculum and I'm really excited about my choices. Buying curriculum is a tricky thing, at least for me. There are so. Many wonderful books and for as many people who love a product, there are just as many who hate it. Here are our choices and goals for this year:.
