Just thoughts as they pop into my head and events as they pop into my life. Monday, May 21, 2012. Unforgettable. Are You? I heard a great story two weeks ago while attending the Storyline Conference with Donald Miller. (Did you hear that crash? That was me name-dropping.) He spoke about a guy he knew who walked into an elevator at his hotel and realized that he was on the elevator with only one other person. YOU WILL NEVER FORGET THIS! That guy truly will NEVER forget that encounter. I wonder what we do ...

After spending three services ripping out my heart and laying it on the altar for everyone to see, I was (understatement coming) a little emotionally spent. I came home and had lunch with my amazing family. It was after lunch that God showed up in the form I needed Him the most. Marcy called from the bathroom, "What are you doing? What do you mean, 'Nothing'? Links to this post.

Well, if you count, "How's it going? Then there are two questions I am posed with. But we'll skip that one. The question everyone seems to ask is:. Praying for you (and your family! 5/6/12, 6:20 PM. Just thoughts as they pop into my head and events as they pop into my life. Monday, August 20, 2012. Tim Tebow is Courageous! He's a great guy and seems to be a strong Christian, which I think garners him the amount of press that he receives, but by most accounts, he is a below-average QB. And yet, he gets way more attention than just about everybody else in the NFL. Which qualifies it is a rotten tomato). It simply promoted good values, but as a work of art, it was subpar. What do you think? I love chic...

Steps on the Journey. Saturday, September 09, 2006. What is wrong with this picture? I am sitting in my dorm room by myself. College Football is on the TV in the other room and I am not there. It is Saturday in the fall and I am not at a tailgate. Georgia Southern kicks off their first game of the season today and I am not there. So I ask, what is wrong with this picture? I still have on my blue though. Even if I can't see the Eagles, they will be piped through my computer speakers. Chewing Up The Experi...

Steps on the Journey. Thursday, May 25, 2006. There was a perplexing aspect to it for me though. The movie moved so quickly through the action that it was basically non-stop the whole way through. Yet, it still managed to drag in parts. It was almost like you are moving at a feverish pace for 20-30 minutes and then . stop. A five minute long conversation in a room. Then, it was back to the fast moving pace. Posted by John at 11:08 AM. Thursday, May 18, 2006. It Makes You Wonder. Posted by John at 6:23 PM.

Just thoughts as they pop into my head and events as they pop into my life. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Book Review: Soul Print by Mark Batterson. I was really excited to get this book after having read and loved Primal. And In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day. However, I was underwhelmed. I don't think Soul Print. Is a bad book; it just didn't capture me like Mark Batterson's other books. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe To This Blog. Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States.
