Off The Ground Dance Studio is a competition dance studio located in downtown Highland Park, IL for ages 5-18. Off The Ground has a competitive dance company called Groundbreakers where dancers train in Hip hop, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary while also taking Ballet and technique classes. OTG also has an apprenticeship for the Groundbreakers program and regular recital classes that run all year, September- June. We are located at 3330 Skokie Valley Rd, Suite 202. We offer two technique courses for anybody who would like to work on their dance fundamentals. Both classes are requirements for members of both Groundbreakers teams and our Apprentice program. Technique Classes are also highly recommended to people participating in any Recital Classes, and are offered at 50% price for recital students.

Groundbreakers are Off The Ground's competitive dance teams. Each year, our Groundbreakers teams perform in four competitions, two dance showcases and an end of year recital. Dancers can choose to perform in up to 3 competitive styles, including Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop. Our Demi, Major, and Pro companies allow for dancers of varying experience to audition, but all.
