2012 The Great Utah/National Parks Tour. Once again, eight stud bikers headed out on this year's trip: Bill, Dennis, Randy, John, Jason, Ken, Brett, and Friggs. But not all together. The plan was to meet John in Grand Junction, and Bill, Friggs, and Dennis set out early from Denver. Randy, Ken, Brett, and Jason were to come later. 1989 The Journey Begins. John got it all started when he bought his old Yamaha Virago. Ken was next with his Honda CB750 Custom, and then Bill jumped in head first with his Honda Shadow. Tooling around on weekends was fun but it wasn't long before we all started thinking about taking a real trip. So what the heck we did! The next day we headed home on I-70. Just a short trip, but we knew we'd found something pretty dang cool. What do you guys say we do this again?

2013 A Little Rustic, A Little Fancy, A Little Wet. It has become almost impossible to map out the first day's ride considering that so many people start from so many different places at so many different times. We're just showing the trip starting from Lakewood, with a possible route. Also, the little purple squiggles are the spots where Ken took some dirt while the rest stayed on the pavement. Friday, and for most of us it was time to head out on the bike trip. Yee ha! We're getting rustic, dude!

1990 The Journey Continues. Camping for the night, we had had the wisdom to pick up some food in the last town but had not expected we would get there and find no firewood to be had anywhere. Collecting bits of dried grass and tiny twigs of sagebrush and such, we built the world's smallest campfire and roasted some of the best-tasting hot dogs ever. We made it on home the next day.
