Saturday, 31 January 2009. I actually wasn't that impressed with the Mona Lisa. I did like this painting, however. It's Lotto's "La Femme Adultere." The Mona Lisa is like a Gap hoodie: nobody knows why they like it so much, they're just told they're supposed to. It goes without saying. As does this one. Sunday, 12 October 2008. October 2008 - Whitby. 1 Whitby is an old seaport on the North Yorkshire coast. It is the home Captain James Cook (not Kirk) and is the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
