Tuesday, August 3, 2010. We took the kids whale and dolphin watching at Dana Point on Captain Dave's Dolphin Safari. It was something we wanted to do for a while but Taede wasn't old enough. He's still on the young side but what the heck. I was solely focused on the kids: I hope we see a whale, I hope there are dolphins, I hope Taede doesn't fall overboard. Monday, March 8, 2010. Do your ears hang low? She is absolutely convinced that I'm destroying my bosom in my determination to allow Taede to self-wean. She wants me to employ various methods to get him off and become an independent man. Like rubbing something sour or bitter on my nipples so the taste would turn him off. My favorite method is painting or coloring my nipples dark. Like an eye. To scare him off nursing. Yes, an eye. Because who wants to eat while there's an eye staring at you, right?

Saturday, December 20, 2008. Let the Holidays Begin! Owen's Preschool visited the Grandma's and Grandpa's at the Convalescent Hospital to sing their Christmas Carols. Grandma Linda joined us for this fun field trip! Kylee's kindergarten class performed their Rudolph songs dressed in their cute reindeer costumes. They sang a bunch of songs with the 1st, and 2nd graders, too. Santa came to Owen's Christmas Party, and Owen told him he is 3 years old and wants a Giraffe for Christmas. Friday, December 5, 2008.

Friday, February 27, 2009. Not so little, little girl. I haven't written in so long. after returning from Hawaii we jumped right back into our busy routine. Kylee seems to have the most going on in her life right now- so I'm going take some time to blog about my biggest little girl. She goes to school full days now, and even takes the bus home after school. Thursday, January 22, 2009. We'll spend 4 days in Oahu, then a week in Kauai. It's going to be an amazing trip- the kids are counting down and can't wait to get their bathing suits on and hit the beach! There are 13 of us traveling together- 6 of whom are under the age of 7- so hopefully we'll have really friendly nieghbors on the plane who don't mind A LOT of childhood enthusiasm :) Stay tuned for updates, I'll try to post while we're gone.
