Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Gift Giving: Father's Day. Having children makes gift giving so much easier for me. I totally use them as my source of inspiration, and sometimes they're there to totally bail me out. When all else fails, give the grandparents handprints, right? I did put some extra thought into this one though. Letters cut out of poster board, some-what cooperative children, and a cooperative husband to dance around behind me to get them to look at the camera.and we're all set!

Saturday, September 27, 2014. After much discussion-as much discussion as you can have within a few short minutes- we decided to go! And we decided to surprise our kids with the big news the next morning on our drive to the park. So we drove 6 hours Friday night, spent the day at Disneyland all day Saturday, then drove the 6 hours home Sunday. It was so worth it! Upon entering the gates, we got to meet Ariel and Aurora. Aurora is Lucy's absolute favorite. She was mesmerized by her. Todd's "smile", haha!

Tuesday, November 4, 2014. We went to a botanical garden. It's true.Tucson has a botanical garden! A couple, actually! I've never been to a botanical garden, but when I hear the word, I imagine lush tropical foliage, tons of flowers in bloom, and exotic wildlife. But who's to say a desert botanical garden can't be beautiful? There were TONS and TONS of butterflies.EVERYWHERE! That alone made our trip worth it. Such beautiful creatures!
