Green Tea Sugar Cookies | AT-AT Everywhere

Green Tea Sugar Cookies. And I emailed Lingie. To see what he wanted to do for his birthday back in April, I was half-expecting another repeat of his birthday last year at that goth bar with all the weird vampires. Followed by a trip to the ER. The last thing I thought he’d say was, “Let’s all get together and bake something. Something. Themed.” I suggested ice cream sandwiches, and threw out the recipe for Green Tea Oreos from Just Jenn. I’d been wanting to break out the Star Wars. 8221; to help us with...

February 18, 2014. The Tire Shop Taqueria is Changing the Street Food Game in LA. First off, the full credit for this find is my good friend. Who wrote about this taco stand. In Los Angeles Magazine's. Digest Blog. He also took me to the place from which the context of this stand can exist, Tacos El Poblano. Because that's what my friend Bill called it to me on Twitter, but I think Llantas Usadas. Binds it all together, with about four tacos worth of meat going into the quesadilla before the requisite sa...

Earl Grey Tea Shortbread Cookies (And Holiday Preview). This past weekend. As of yesterday, I am proud to say that I have completed the Holiday Bake-A-Thon 2012 (*inserts shameless plugs from 2011. Here*). I may churn out a couple more things before the year is over, but will do so leisurely (versus the stressful, intense 14 hours of baking I conquered this past weekend). I decided on a tea theme for this year’s holiday homemade gifting, as I have really been enjoying a warm. Even Captain Picard does.

In thinking about some of my posts from the last year, I realized that I have really just gotten all about the food and less about…anything else! Time to sit, reflect, and put pen to paper has definitely dissipated greatly but I fully intend to get back into it and soon! But for now, another food post. Sent me the original recipe a few years ago, and I’ve adapted it as such:. 1/2 C light corn syrup (I used Karo brand). 1/2 C of sugar. 1/2 C vegetable oil. 1/2 C butter (1 stick) unsalted butter. Melt the ...

2014’s Holiday Bake-A-Thon wasn’t as busy as previous years have been. I didn’t have time to do a lot of research and test runs of new recipes, so I ended up making some crowd pleasers from past holiday seasons, including Earl Grey Shortbread Cookies. Green Tea Sugar Cookies. And Furikake Chex Mix. I did try out one new recipe for a chocolate cupcake with hot chocolate. Frosting – the perfect cold-weather themed treat! I keep reposting my favorite Guiness Chocolate Cupcake. 1/2 C butter, room temperature.

Chai Spiced Snickerdoodle | AT-AT Everywhere

It is literally too cold to do anything but go from my home to work to home. Anything beyond that requires too many layers of clothing and too much discipline. I did, however, manage to get my fat ass out to play some pick-up basketball. Last night and was somehow sore enough today that I tripped (twice) walking up the stairs at work because I had trouble lifting my feet. Unfortunately, my diet. I started this blog in September of 2010. My photography is closer to bearable. And as for my writing, I j...
