The Henline Farm: January 2012
http://thehenlinefarm.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. After searching the internet and Amazon.com I discovered that Reynold's is now the manufacturer of the pastel cupcake liner. However, they don't have any in stock.neither does Amazon.com! No offense to Wilton and other designer brand cupcake liner manufacturers, but I only need my pastel liners. Let me know if you see these "old fashioned" liners around town. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Pinterest. View my complete profile. Farm Wish List- 2013. Chickens in the Road.

The Henline Farm: April 2013
http://thehenlinefarm.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 13, 2013. Vintage 1905 Juice O Mat. Have you ever heard of a Juice o Mat? I found one this morning at a garage sale. I went to lift it off of the table and it was heavy.no aluminum here! It had a beautiful retro look and it seems functional. I looked around on the internet an apparently folks collect this item but there doesn't seem to be much history on the piece. I wish the Rival Company would create a product history on their web site. I definitely would like to learn more.

The Henline Farm: March 2011
http://thehenlinefarm.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. One thing leads to another! It all started with a recipe for essential oils using apple peels. Well, I wasn't going to peel some apples without doing something with the the rest of the fruit. So, I decided to make apple cake! Then I thought about my personal bread quest. I had wanted to make a spinach flat bread recipe ever since I tried some two weeks ago. It looks good. I can't wait until it cools off. And the critters got the good vegie scraps! Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Life has a way of side tracking me. My friends and family enjoy viewing our farm through this blog but I have been lax in doing so. So I will attempt, once again to restart this blog. Something new this year: I was selected to be an Ohio Cultivator. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Pinterest. I am a hobby farmer. My husband has the green thumb and gardens, while my daughters and I farm and craft. We enjoy our Alpacas, Chickens, Ducks, Dogs and Bees.

Owner: Learning Tree Farm. Engeneer: Steve Alexander P.E., CCI Engeneering. We added structural support to the timbers and rafters, then replaced the roof on this circa-1830s barn. The challenge on this project was to add strength and integrity to the building and a place of assembly, while maintaining and complementing the original fabric and design. New, laminated yellow pine beams support the rafters and complement the original structure. Ken pounds a pin into a mortise and tenon joint. We helped set ...

Thursday, January 24, 2013. Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Has a wonderful presence on the internet. The blog is well written (unlike here) and emphasizes the things I would like to try. This year they are beginning their blog with "31 days of Living Homegrown". I found it quite interesting thus far as Weck Jars and Beekeeping have been highlighted(amongst other things). I look forward to reading the remaining entries this month and adding more to my "to do list". :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Clever Chicks...

Thursday, May 19, 2011. Quick the sun is shining! After about another week and a half of rain, the sun peeked out this afternoon. I took advantage of this break in the weather to check the hives. Swarming weather is upon us and I want to make sure that they are happy. Monday, May 16, 2011. We had to cancel the shearing for the Alpacas as they are wet from head to toe. We are now on a sunshine waiting list. At this point it may be fall before they are sheared. :(. Saturday, May 14, 2011. The spring has be...
