Biondi Sports: All-Ohio For DIII and DIV are out, baby
http://biondisports.blogspot.com/2007/11/all-ohio-for-diii-and-div-are-out-baby.html
A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. All-Ohio For DIII and DIV are out, baby. Alright, we admit it, our excitment level drops a little for the smaller schools. There just aren't as many future Big 10/SEC/PAC-10/ACC-type players on these lists. Sue us, we can be sizeists at times. Anywho, the complete lists are available for DIII here. Eastmoor Academy RB Isaiah Pead, (who has plenty of nice schools after him. Subscribe in a reader. Biondi Sports: Oh USA Today, you goofy bastards
http://biondisports.blogspot.com/2007/11/oh-usa-today-you-goofy-bastards.html
A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Thursday, November 15, 2007. Oh USA Today, you goofy bastards. Since America's Newspaper highlighted Ohio. With its Game of the Week last week, the powers that be in Northern Virginia have apparantly decided they can't come back again when two of their top-ten ranked teams square off Friday night in Cincinnati. So USA Today's G.O.W. Is (yawn) No. 16 Pittsburgh Central Catholic vs. the very not-national ranked McKeesport. No. 16? Game of the week.

A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Thursday, November 29, 2007. Roe, Roe and more Roe. Delvon Roe, a senior forward for St. Edward's and a Michigan State recruit, is profiled by SI.com/RISE this week. The focus is on the Eagles' loss to Moeller in last year's state semis and the hard work Roe put in during the off-season to make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm not a betting man (wait, what did I say? Subscribe in a reader. Ohio High School Football Blog. Game of the week. From th...

Biondi Sports: Are football players too fat for their own health?
http://biondisports.blogspot.com/2007/11/are-football-players-too-fat-for-their.html
A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Friday, November 30, 2007. Are football players too fat for their own health? In today's NY Times by Jere Longman, one of the paper's best, about the size of HS lineman. It's full of amazing and scary stats, but here are just a couple to consider:. A study published early this year found that in Iowa, 45 percent of lineman were overweight and almost 1 in 10 had severe adult obesity. Subscribe in a reader. Ohio High School Football Blog. A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Wednesday, November 21, 2007. HS Pigskin on Turkey-Day. Ohio high schools (at least recently) don't do a lot of football-playing on Thanksgiving. That is not the case in many parts of the country and SI has a nice piece today detailing a few traditional HS rivalries on the holiday. Subscribe in a reader. Ohio High School Football Blog. Biondi Sports: Second-to-last football Super 25 is out
http://biondisports.blogspot.com/2007/11/second-to-last-football-super-25-is-out.html
A high school sports blogging tradition unlike any other. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Second-to-last football Super 25 is out. Second-to-last, at least as far as Ohio is concerned. Not surprisingly (since nobody ahead of them lost) St. Xavier remains at No. 5, and Mooney stays at No. 8. Interesting that 12-1 Colerain is in the poll at No. 16, while Dublin Coffman with a better record, a closer result against X and more star-power is nowhere to be found, even in the regional rankings.
