Pedal and Pop: Angel, Rally Season begins and RaceBike
http://pedalnpop.blogspot.com/2012/04/angel-rally-season-begins-and-racebike.html
Sunday, April 8, 2012. Angel, Rally Season begins and RaceBike. I worked on an Angle last week. It was in pretty nice shape, and I have to say, I really wanted to keep this one. They have that weird pseudo variated motor, the pointless flip up seat and the tiniest but perfectly scale Mikuni carb I have ever seen. The carb looked just like the 18mm one on my Hill-Billy but was probably only 10mm - neat. Some more bikes were dropped off at my house on Friday, look at all those Mobys. Be Skilled or Be Killed.

Saturday, October 6, 2012. NOS SP93 forks just showed up for my winter build. I ordered these from Marc Deschamps at lesolex.com. Pretty rad shape and a decent price - too bad shipping set me back more than the forks :-(. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Be Skilled or Be Killed. Fast Cheap and Out of Control. I Breaked My Moped. Pedal and Pop: December 2012
http://pedalnpop.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 9, 2012. New Kid On The Block. This weekend, I traded "Allison's" 1986 Tomos Bullet which I had fitted with an A35 motor. For this tiny beast; a 1978 Motobecane VLX. It's pretty ridiculous, but I love it. This VLX has had kind of a hard life so far, but all the fun bits are there so I am pretty happy. I will miss the old trusty Tomos though, whenever I am pushing any of my French fixation down the road. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Be Skilled or Be Killed. Fast Cheap and Out of Control.

Pedal and Pop: July 2011
http://pedalnpop.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 3, 2011. Fixit Day and AV88 with AV10, progress report. Another beautiful day in Manchester. I helped my friend work on his new AV92 for a couple hours. It's really cool to watch him start to learn about his bike. For the record, my AV88 runs a MES or E10 style head lamp which is threaded and about 9.3mm in diameter at the threads. The tail lamp is a BA15S which has two pins at the same level and is about 15mm in diameter. Saturday, July 2, 2011. I was hanging the motor, I found I had to rot...

Pedal and Pop: back in business
http://pedalnpop.blogspot.com/2012/09/back-in-business.html
Saturday, September 22, 2012. Well, I've got a pretty decent backlog of projects lined up so I think I will try this blog thing back on for size. For starters, I bought this classy moped from one of the Lafayettis at the beginning of the month:. It's pretty classy; I think she likes it. Still need to get it registered though. In the dis-assembly and loading into the Fiat at Phil's, I left behind a vital front break component. Until that turns up it's not really ride-able anyway :-(. Also, been doing a lo...

Pretty rad shape and a decent price - too bad shipping set me back more than the forks :-(. December 3, 2012 at 8:05 PM. A bit cheeky but I have a Mobylette SP 93. Excellent condition - I got it running about 4 years ago and it has been in storage since. No log book but it has what I would guess is the original handbook! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pedal and Pop: March 2012
http://pedalnpop.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 27, 2012. So excited for Moped Mayhem. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Trying this again. . . Or how I became a moped mechanic. Well, it looks like my last post was coming up on a year ago. It's not at all that I got out of mopeds, but rather that I stopped having anything to write about. Our last summer in Manchester, all my bikes were running fine and I rode and rode and rode, but there wasn't much interesting to share. Here's one of the SP93s, ready to be put back together. Hill-Bily, Rust Buck...
