Down On The Farm: August 2009
http://kortekountry.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Down On The Farm. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Fall is almost here! I can't believe that summer is over, school has started and I haven't blogged ONCE! I thought I'd share some pictures, so you could see how the kiddos have grown over the summer. The first day of school. The whole rowdy bunch! Damian planted about 200 acres of no-till sunflowers and they are doing very well and so beautiful! We managed to capture a few decent shots in between the girls squealing at bees! Down On The Farm: Ag Education
http://kortekountry.blogspot.com/2009/09/ag-education.html
Down On The Farm. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. My job was to bake lots of cookies and brownies and keep our dogs, Milo and Maisy, from being a nuisance. If anyone likes wildflowers, this is a great time to pick maximillus sunflowers and they look beautiful in a vase. An added benefit of hosting something like this is that it motivates Damian to clean up around the yard and get rid of the junk that has been accumulating around the out buildings! What a neat event you hosted! November 5, 2009 at 8:51 PM.

Down On The Farm: October 2008
http://kortekountry.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Down On The Farm. Monday, October 27, 2008. Meet "Sucker" - AKA.Tucker. Tucker has grown to be the most patient cat. Brooklyn drags him all over the house, with her hands around his middle and his hind feet dangling, poor thing! She pushes him in the doll stroller, shuts him in closets (which makes me very mad! LOL), but despite all this he still likes to curl up with her for afternoon naps. How sweet! Sunday, October 26, 2008. Four Little Pumpkins and Some jack-O-Lanterns. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Down On The Farm: Moody Blue Monday...
http://kortekountry.blogspot.com/2009/09/moody-blue-monday.html
Down On The Farm. Monday, September 28, 2009. This morning Damian made Brooklyn oatmeal for breakfast. It is his special recipe and all the kids love it.not me. :-) He takes quick oats, adds enough water to cover the oats, nukes it in the microwave for 30 seconds, then sprinkles with semi-sweet chocolate chips. This PARTICULAR morning he made a SMILEY face out of the chocolate chips.all HIS idea.totally something a MOM would do, but this was ALL him! Can you guess how LOVELY our morning was? A Tidbit or 2.

Down On The Farm: April 2009
http://kortekountry.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Down On The Farm. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Here is an update on Spring planting for this year. Damian always gets a little antsy due to the number of acres he hopes to get in the ground, under perfect conditions, within the perfect time window. However, he is hesitant to complain about rains this time of year because it is always a good feeling to start the hot, dry season off with the ponds and creeks full. For those of you who like statistics here is the rundown to date:. 150 acres of corn left to plant.

Gods-Plan4me: 57 Cent Church
http://gods-plan4me.blogspot.com/2011/03/57-cent-church.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. A little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was 'too crowded.' 'I can't go to Sunday School,' she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by. This is a true story, which goes to show WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life Is Good: introducing...
http://marcie-bowman.blogspot.com/2015/02/introducing.html
Monday, February 2, 2015. Quite a lot has happened since my last blog post. I think just about anyone who might check this blog already knows about Addison, but I just can't help sharing a few recent pictures! On January 7, our oldest daughter Bri gave birth to our first grandchild (how can I be a grandma? I've decided I want her to call me Mimi, but as my mom (Gaga) knows, sometimes those sweet little babies choose your name for you! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm also an avid blog-stalker!

Life Is Good: ice cream cake
http://marcie-bowman.blogspot.com/2010/12/ice-cream-cake.html
Thursday, December 2, 2010. Here is the recipe for the ice cream cake from Bri’s birthday. I’ve made this twice and it’s really pretty easy and quite tasty! Smash up the Oreos. I stuck them in a gallon bag and rolled them with a rolling pin. Hold back 1/2 cup of cookie crumbs for the topping at the end. I didn’t top mine, so I just held back a couple of cookies and at them. Mix the remaining cookie crumbs with a stick of melted margarine. Spread crumb mixture in the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. 1 package of O...
