For love of food, family and fun. As a single person, I took up baking in my tiny apartment to pass the time spent alone. A “Cookies and Creme” cupcake recipe came to me by way of a desktop calendar, and the delightful treats became somewhat of a signature baked goodie within my circle of family and friends. In any case, I have hopes that this blog will satisfy my need to write. To cook and to write and to write about what I cook. And share these passions with you, whomever you may be.

About Oh, Sarah-Rose. No Sleep Til Dublin. July 22, 2016. Late on Good Friday we travelled to Dublin. Because I am a non-religious idiot who consistently forgets that Easter exists. We could have left so much earlier in the day! It would have made Such a Difference.But we did not. Our flight was at 10pm and, delightfully, RyanAir delayed and delayed and delayed it. As part of the Hutt Valley Irish Society they had arranged a trip around Ireland and it all began in Dublin for the centenary celebrations.
