The Dialogue: March 2010
http://sabrinasdialogue.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. When I was younger, I never thought to question the status quo. Things that were "normal" were that way because they should be. I took them for granted. Now that I am older, I find myself looking at these "normal" things in a different light. I analyze them and make my own judgments about them. One of these "normal" things is family- both marriage and having children. Look at the institution of marriage! Anxiously concerned for their well-being! Sunday, March 14, 2010. Last wee...

The Dialogue: November 2010
http://sabrinasdialogue.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. R-E-S-P-E-C-T: find out what it means to me. I've been pondering about respect for YEARS! Here are things my parents do that I think contributes to the high-respect level in my family:. 1 They show respect for each other at all times (literally, I don't think I have ever seen them disrespect each other). 4 They each express appreciation for the other to us, when the other one isn't there. I can't count the times that Mom, when Dad wasn't there, told us how much she loves Da...

Dancing Through Life: Faith in Every Footstep
http://brookehunter9.blogspot.com/2010/11/faith-in-every-footstep.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. Faith in Every Footstep. Life is never what we plan it to be, but it ALWAYS works out and usually better than we could ever imagine. How fundamentally different my life is than I had sought to plan! My professional life has changed. My personal life has changed. But the commitment I made to the Lord—to put Him first in my life and to be ready for whatever He would have me do—has carried me through these changes of eternal importance." -Dallin H. Oaks. The Dialogue: May 2012
http://sabrinasdialogue.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 19, 2012. Sunday, May 13, 2012. The concept of love is of utmost importance. It is the most important human feeling and motivating power. It defines a worthwhile life. Love is the basis of the first and second great commandments. We all want to love and be loved. Yet, despite knowing its importance, we struggle to know what it is. Is the love that I feel for a boy different than the love I feel for my mom? Is love different when it is had in different relationships? So what is love? On a ba...

The Dialogue: March 2012
http://sabrinasdialogue.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 4, 2012. I've been thinking a lot about the concept of living deliberately. It's a phrase that a friend of mine used a few years ago, and I've adopted it as part of my general philosophy of life. I believe in living on purpose! Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The unexamined life is not worth living.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Please read and comment! A place to philosophize. Find out what I believe. Watermark template. The Rygg Family: July 2011
http://jonandebs.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Jon, Deborah, Alice, and Lillian. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. We had a baby. And she is beautiful! Her name is Viola Mei. She was born May 31, weighed 8 lbs 2 oz, and was 21 3/4 inches long. She is the best baby in the world. We love you Viola! Yes, this is a loaf of bread that I baked from scratch. Right after it came out of the oven Lillian decided to color on it. Who does that? This one is particularly special. I think the picture says even more than one thousand words. Colored Viola's arm with marker.

The Rygg Family: December 2010
http://jonandebs.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Jon, Deborah, Alice, and Lillian. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Our New Year's Resolution - Blogging. What a better way to return to the blogosphere than to document Christmas. We celebrated with the Blakes this year, and therefore, Christmas started at 4am. Jon played the miser and managed to delay the sortie down the stairs fifteen minutes. It's great being a Dad!
