http://hegowski.blogspot.com/2007/07/fruits-of-labor.html
Sunday, July 01, 2007. The fruits of labor. Anyways, I just got back from a camp called Ravencrest just outside of Estes Park, Colorado yesterday. It was my third time to go to Ravencrest, and it truly was an amazing experience, but I'll save that story for another post. This post is about something that has consumed much of my time, thought, and creative energy over the past year- my band, Christmas Fuller Project. Well, I guess thats all for now. I hope you are blessed and growing. Take care. Hold on, ...

Thursday, January 04, 2007. Favorites of 2006, or, Me Trying Desperately to Legitimize Myself. Something I always look forward to at the end of a given year is sitting down and discussing with my friends what we all think are the best movies, albums, etc. of said year. And, with my introduction to this wonderful little tool we call the "blog," I have had, for the last 2 years, the ability to actually publish a list of these things for the world to see. Would this not make me the worst kind of pretentious...

Learning How to Die: June 2008
http://hegowski.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Why do you believe it to be true? Although I try to fend off dicussions like this, Cameron's response made me curious. You seem intelligent enough, so I ask you WHY you believe it to be true. WHY, without any real, convincing evidence to support that Jesus was not just another human, do you accept that Christ is your personal savior? WHY, without regard to the rules of logic, do you come to the conclusion that God probably exsists? Its a tough question. I was glad that he asked me...

Y sigue la adventura! And the adventure continues! Wednesday, June 25, 2008. After five days, four nights, and countless hours (actually not countless, the estimate is around 25) spent on various forms of locomotion traveling through the jesuit mission circuit which is north, north east of santa cruz, i’ve finally made it back to santa cruz, the place that now feels like home here in bolivia. and man was it an adventure! The girls with samuel's sweet car. he jokingly told us that it was the latest mo...

Learning How to Die: March 2006
http://hegowski.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 16, 2006. Jesus, don't cry. My heart ached at the thought, for surely this one was going to be just like all of the rest I had seen- loud, obnoxious, confrontational, judgemental, self-righteous, etc. I turned my iPod off, and decided to take a seat by the lawn where he was "preaching.". Sure enough, he was everything I expected and more. "Jesus, don't cry," I prayed. I know I'm kind of jumping around a lot now, and, I'll be honest, I have no intention (and probably not the creative abili...
