Saturday, June 29, 2013. 2013- Ojemba in Southeast Asia. We arrived Siam Reap at 11:00 pm after a very long flight: 13 and half hours to Seoul and 5 hours to Cambodia. The kids did really well on the flights - watching movies, playing games, eating (everyone except Obi of course), and sleeping. All still in high spirits. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Turkish Doner Kebabs and Ottoman Opulence. We tried street eating. We have tried corn on the cub and pretzel. But this time, we wanted to go all the way. The kids loved it, except Obi, of course, who only had fanta. For one thing, it contained the biggest chandelier in Europe weighing more than 4 tons. It has whole ball rooms with gold plated ceiling. The spiraling staircase is of crystal. After the palace tour, we took some pictures outside. Bosphorus Day Cruise and Topkapi.

Monday, August 6, 2012. We have crammed in years of course work in history, geography, theology and international politics. Into 6 weeks. At the same time, we have spent invaluable time with one another. We have been enriched by the experience in ways we planned as well as in ways that that we will never know. We thank God for this spectacular opportunity and the staff at the office for holding down the fort in our absence. We are forever grateful to them! We made it safely to MN! To God be the Glory!
