In March of 2015, we have set-up the first research lab of our "PAK Research Center" (PRC) within the major campus of Ryukyu University in Okinawa, Japan. Our main goal of this lab is to develop a series of potent PAK1-blockers which would be useful for therapy of cancer and many other PAK1-dependent diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
