Primary School Day Walks. Ok Let’s Walk already provides a programme for P6/7 pupils. Since 2010/11 over 1,000 pupils of all abilities have successfully climbed Slieve Gullion Mountain. All participants had an excellent and enjoyable experience disproving the myth that young people no longer like walking in the outdoors. The aim of the programme is that all P6/7 pupils before leaving their local primary school will:. Have climbed Slieve Gullion and viewed the cairns, cave / tomb, and lake at the summit.
