The Greater Venice Florida Dog and Training Club is a AKC Chartered Club. It is a diverse group of dog fanciers with members from Venice Sarasota, North Port, Nokomis, Osprey, Englewood, Port Charlotte, Fort Myers and points in between. Dogs must be approved by the Instructor before enrolling in this class. This class teaches dog/handler teamwork, how to stack the dog, how to display the bite, how to gait the dog around the ring, ring maneuvers, ring manners and interacting with the Judge. No excessive force will be allowed in this class. This is a combination class of agility, rally, and obedience, obedience games. FITNESS FOR DOGGIE and ME. TIMES - COST - DESCRIPTIONS. All classes are held indoors in well-lit, air-conditioned rooms with matting for safety for dogs and their owners. WEAR Rubber soled shoes . NO SANDALS are allowed for safety reasons! SORRY NO flexi leads can be used when training! BASIC OBEDIENCE - Level 1. 1 hour each session. Afternoon and Evening classes. Cost: $100.00 per 6 wk session. Bull;Prong collars , choke chains (except by specific permission of instructor) or excessive force will NOT be allowed in this class.
