I walk a dream of reality. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. You geared up to touch her. With your existence and waited. Like a lighted matchstick. For its fire to be extinguished. But your presence was an illusion. Gone wrong. You fret about the end. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Links - The Literary Circle. Autumn Verses: April 2007
http://autumn-verses.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
I walk a dream of reality. Monday, April 30, 2007. We will dance on the cold pebbles. Beside the lake where ripples. Of clear blue water will tickle our feet,. Where wisp of autumn air will thread. Our hair and make us giggle like children,. And where dragons can turn into butterflies. When dusk casts long shadows. Across the garden, we will sit. And brew tea. We will read. Our favourite poems to each other. And try to outwit one another. With stories, tall or short,. Rhymed or unrhymed,. My forehead and...

The Library Princess: June 2008

Wednesday, 11 June 2008. A quick note to let you know that I won't be posting for at least a month - I'm off to Mozambique! Just in case anyone pops by and wonders if I've died or something. Sunday, 1 June 2008. One thing I love about the holidays is the sheer unadulterated indulgence of reading for pleasure. I do it lots, when my studies are, for once, not clamouring for my attention instead. The Medievalists among you may want to check out this review. I wrote on one of my other blogs. Was written earl...

Tuesday, 8 January 2008. This one damn near killed me. 1 Compare the use of at least two of the following sources on at least two texts studied on this course: Boethius; Celtic and French source material; the gospel of Nicodemus; the influence of pagan gods and ideas. Before comparing the use of these sources on these texts in terms of social commentary, it would be helpful to look briefly at the sources themselves and also to compare their use on the texts more generally. Wednesday, 21 May 2008. Walking in the footsteps of The Little Professor. Apologies for the haphazard capitalisation, etc - this is pasted from Notepad and was originally just a point of reference for me. I'm too lazy to sort it out. Ted hughes reading poems. Sylvia plath reading poems. No, virginia by the dresden dolls. American Doll Posse by Tori Amos. The habit of being by flannery o'connor. The dead and the living/the wellspring by sharon olds. The Library Princess: March 2010
http://lessonsinidentity.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 1 March 2010. We interrupt this blog's coma for an advert break. If it's jewellery you're after, you should go to LuShae Jewelry. They even have earrings. Have I been bribed to write this? So I got this. It's medievally. I like it. So, yes, I do recommend this site. Some of the jewellery looks a bit tacky on the website but the quality is very good in real life, and I love the design of my pendant. The site provides plenty of information on each item, too, which is important. Out of Loo Roll.

The Library Princess: February 2009
http://lessonsinidentity.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 8 February 2009. My header's gone. That's. interesting. Will have to chase that one up. I know, I know, it's been a long time. Busyness and laziness are a deadly combination. I've set myself a target for a blog post (in any blog) per week, and I think that's do-able. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I've finally said goodbye to LJ entirely - Candyfloss and Medicine. Is now joining its friends on Blogger. Here I am. Thinky-type posts will resume. sometime. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, 7 February 2008. The Fantasy of Being Thin. But then, the other day, I got to thinking about a particular kind of resistance that shows up every single time anyone dares to say that dieting doesn’t work — the kind that comes from other fat people and amounts to, “DON’T YOU TAKE MY HOPE AWAY! There’s no point in trying, fatty! Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying. *headdesk*. Just fucking do them, now, because this IS your life, happening as we speak. Et cetera, et cetera. Those are examples...

When I was five:. I had an invisible friend called Bella. Not something I experienced - one of the many reasons I thank God I wasn't born in America. I will never forget:. Wednesday, 30 July 2008. Damn, blast and bugger. I was going to type up my journal of my trip to Mozambique. That was meant to be my next post.
