Old Abiquiú Bed and Breakfast. Has been in existence since 1999, offering a relaxing retreat from the busy, bigger world. There are two beautifully appointed. In the comfortable adobe house, surrounded by garden areas and a huge patio/portal shaded by an ancient cottonwood tree. This 1929 AB dump truck had been sitting out in a yard for so long that a tree had grown through it. The engine was missing, but we later found it on the ground and brought it home too. This truck is equiped with an early Garwood hydraulic dump bed, a significant historical artifact in and of itself. Here are links to some sites that. Old Macks R Us. Updated May 19, 2010. The Farm House was built in two phases, with phase 1 occurring before the start of the Civil War and phase 2 beginning around 1870. There it was, in all its glory.
