The Kemp Hall is the venue for many of the events involving villagers that take place regularly. The details are available in a consolidated timetable. As well as facilities for the rural sports of shooting, angling, and riding, there are several golf. Courses in easy reach of Old Deer. World class instruction in Shotokan karate is provided by the Shi Gaku Kan Karate Club. Which meets in Peterhead and Aberdeen. More information about things to do will be provided in due course.
