Wednesday, May 30, 2012. A Memorable Memorial Day. For my birthday the kids wanted to take me up to Morgan Lake and spend some time there. I always forget what a pretty little lake it is. Max was anxious to show off his fishing skills. As soon as he hopped out of the truck he grabbed his pole and headed for the shore, cast his line and immediately hooked a tree. He spent the next several minutes fixing his line. It took several minutes, and we were all hungry so we broke out the food, ate and watched him.

Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Out With the Olde. In January, my first grandchild was born, Ella Maur. She is a joy and delight and brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart every time I see her. We were fortunate to live close enough to visit every few weeks but in August we got lucky and Lexy and her family moved to La Grande while her husband continues his schooling. We love having them close! Zoey made it through her senior year! Zoey, and her two good friends from high school, Hannah and Kate.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Sing Me A Song, You're The Piano Man". I have always wanted an old, upright piano. You know the ones, super heavy, nearly impossible to move, but elegant in their own way. And when I got one I wanted it to look much like this:. Saturday, June 9, 2012. Today was free fishing day and we wanted to take advantage. It was cold, cloudy and windy, and threatening rain, but that didn't deter us. It probably should have. Lexy is goofing off, but take a look at her hair! Lexy and Eric scouted out the perfect spot for us, we set up fish camp, and proceeded to fish. Gang Banger Eli, Riley's fashionable friend Lindsay, and Riley were persistant but no luck. Those wiley fish were no where to be found. Friday, June 8, 2012.
