The day before we left for Arizona for a week. I'll post more on that later. We are home now! So here's a project we did for Nana's room a little while ago. She needed night stands so we picked some up at DI for $10 each. Here's the before of the night stands. We cut a piece of mdf for a new top. What do ya think?

Thursday, May 14, 2015. Mix-N-Match Spring Table Setting. Soon to today's post. I've had this pale yellow and blue combination on our dining room table since a little before Easter and I have enjoyed it so much. I decided to get out my mismatched dishes and make a table setting to show you all. Pretty much everything on the table is second-hand treasures (including the table and chairs themselves). These sweet little lanterns were a thrift store find for $2 each. I think they were originally from Tar...

Once the idea for this project hit me I couldn't wait to get it finished, and then once I had it finished I couldn't wait to get it photographed and up on the blog to share with my readers. You probably remember several months ago I shared my DIY "feed sack" shower curtain. I made out of painter's drop cloth. Well, since then I've started selling them in my Etsy shop.

The Cozy Old "Farmhouse": July 2014
https://thecozyoldfarmhouse.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 18, 2014. There haven't been any major changes around here lately, but a few things that have been languishing in an unfinished state for months have finally been completed so I thought I'd give you an update. These are the "before" photos.). Same routine with the trim around the front door, she primed, I caulked, she put the top coat on. This little alcove had never received it's coat of tan paint, nor had the trim been addressed. She put the first coat of tan on, I did the 2nd coat, I ...

Pumpkin Crunch - landeelu.com
http://www.landeeseelandeedo.com/2011/10/pumpkin-crunch.html
I see it. i like it. i do it. October 6, 2011. My friend (Ann of Cupcake Tasting Party fame) casually mentioned this recipe she had seen on her SIL’s Facebook as we sat at our daughters’ dance class. Pumpkin Crunch, you say? My ears perked up and my back straightened slightly. There may have even been a raising of the eyebrow, not sure. Sounded delicious. Just from the title. So I quickly copied it down in my handy-dandy Family Organizer. 1 15oz. can pumpkin. 1 12oz. can evaporated milk. 1 Yellow Cake Mix.
