We recommend a caliber of 270 or larger with a good scope. Sighting in 1″ high at 100 yards will be adequate. All clients are required to shoot their gun at our covered gun range before hunting. During hunting season the weather in west Texas can vary from highs in the 80’s to sleet and snow, or anything in between. Pack accordingly.
