A couple of months ago, I gave up political comments for lent, and my blood pressure was so grateful that I have continued that practice. But I have no reservations in saying,. Sunday, July 4, 2010. As An Athlete, Getting Old. Which brings us to the main outlet available to me these days- running/walking. Even when I was a good athlete, I hated those things! I know there is a "runner's high" that serious runners achieve and can't do without. I don't ever expect to experience that high! I don't do tennis, weights, ski on any surface.
