Monday, January 10, 2011. 2011 Mesquite Dutch oven Cook-off. January 7-8, 2011. World champ Omar has moved up from cooking to judging! This is a first time event, and I had to do most of the planning via e-mail and Internet, explaining to non-cooks what I need and expect for this cook-off to be a success. I did get 20 teams to register, so that is a plus! And he's already planning for the next one in November! Welcome to H.M.K. '61. 2011 Mesquite Dutch oven Cook-off.
