The pavement outside was scrubbed with bleach, and in fact it was a proud boast in Woodhouse, where we moved later, that you could eat your dinner off the pavements. Next door to Shoddy’s were with Misses Wilson. I only ever remember going into their house once but it was memorable. In addition to the long list of barns to be taken down, we have installed three new reclaimed floors, completed the interior on an incredible relocated Log Cabin (it deserves a blog post of its own) and shipped out many semi loads of wood all over the country.
