Sunday, 13 June 2010. Today was a relatively benign stage. It was on the shorter side at 99 miles and not too hilly. The scenery around Loch Ness was stunning and Sheridan has booked us into a wonderfully comfortable cottage in the grounds of a posh hotel called Inverlochy Castle. Morale is high within the team and we have just finished a great supper. One last thing.I have to thank Hamish and Cheryl for making us so welcome at the Invershin Hotel, near. Tuesday, 15 June 2010. Despite the growing physical discomfort of another 130 mile day moral is still high amongst the troops. We enjoyed another day of stunning views and breathtaking scenery. The weather has been almost perfect and we have enjoyed some hours of following wind. The bikes have all held together better than we have and the accommodation has worked well. Monday, 21 June 2010. Day 9 The Finish. One of the great things about cycling is that it does not seem to damage your body in the way that other sports can do. I remember hobbling away from the London Marathon with legs that would hardly move for a day or two. After 9 days of cycling I feel physically good.
