These snaps were taken while on holiday in Northern Sutherland on the West Coast of Scotland. We went with Chris and Jan and stayed in a cottage in Drumnaguie in the very small village of Polin. The beach - Am Meallan - with its distinctive island - Eilean na h-Aiteig - was a short distance from the cottage. The installation was Chris's idea and was made from items collected while beachcombing. It ended up facing the cliffs of Handa Island which can be seen gleaming in the sun in the last photograph.
