Cook Without a Kitchen: June 2012
http://cookwithoutakitchen.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Cook Without a Kitchen. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. La Table, Pequena. Rice, Cafe Lafayette. Stone Home Wine Bar. I make a version of this salad with whatever I have around. It's sort of a Cambodian/Vietnamese/Thai mash up. It's easy to assemble, there's no cooking involved and it's the perfect crunchy salad for a hot summer day. 1 package vermicelli rice noodles soaked in hot water according to the instructions on the package (I recently found a whole grain brand that is very good). Add to Reserved Liquid:.

This will be my final post on Bklynstitch but you can now follow me on my new and approved blog Bow and Arrow. Before we left, I wanted to share my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. With thousands and thousands of restaurants to choose from it's hard to name all of my favorites but here are my top ten. If you're looking for a strong cocktail paired with a really tasty cheese and meat plate, Hotel Delmano. In Williamsburg is a great place to go. Has so many amazing vendors but our favorite is Asia Dog.

Lovely Day: September 2011

Friday, September 30, 2011. Miami, part I. One week ago today I was laying on this beach in Miami covered in salt and sand, giddy over this cloud formation. Have you ever seen a more perfect cloud? I kept thinking that any second cherubs would burst through in song. Shortly after, I would walk to the Raleigh hotel, order a peach daiquiri, and discuss the evening ahead, happy as a clam. Let's go back, wanna? New York is exhausting me this week. Woof. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Maybe just growing up.".

Am planning to make homemade carnitas the coming long weekend. As a renowned Empanadero. Restaurants this month included: the Times Sq. Sake Bar, Hagi. And the ba...
