Also, the first thing you want to do is get a pot of water boiling for the pasta noodles. The non-boil tnoodles don’t work for this recipe. Drizzle Olive Oil over squash – put fresh thyme (or sage or other herb) on squash and salt. Put on baking sheet/dish in oven (if you have a rack that can go on the cookie sheet or baking dish, use that) for 1-2 hours. I have been working with Gourds since 2007, taking my first beginning gourd class taught by Diane Calderwood at Piecemakers in Costa Mesa CA. Since then I have taken many classes and attended several gourd festivals. I have begun to develop my own artistic style as do most gourd artists.
