Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Is it really going to be only 27 days until we see MELIA MIHRET ALLEN? Yes, that is going to be her name. Her Ethiopian name is Mihret but since I have such difficulty pronouncing it properly, we decided to give her another first name. One of my good friends, Lindsey, gave us some suggestions and we loved MELIA! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). June 4, 2009 - Made final...

Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1. Monday, November 17, 2008. We're All Sick Again! Enough of me, Carissa is also sick. Rob took her to the doctor today because I had to go buy much needed groceries. She is on a cough medicine, antiobiotic and inhaler because she is wheezing. Poor thing! Decide to relent and go to the doctor and they are REALLY SICK. When they aren't playing, they are sick! Sounds delicious, huh? Carissa and I ha...

Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Feelings should be indicators, not dictators. WOW. Every time I read that I realize how much power I was allowing my feelings to have over I act. There have been many mommy moments when I sat back and thought I could have handled that better. Or I would wonder what is wrong with me that I can't get my emotions in check. I also wondered how many times you have done the same thing. How many times did you beat yourself up over something you said or did? Subscribe to: Post Comments...

Tuesday, October 13, 2009. I went back and was reading some articles and actual came across a blog post of mine from a while back. It spoke to me today just as it had the day that I wrote it so I thought I would share it again. Today is a crazy day for me. It seems I have those more and more these days. With my husbands unpredictable schedule and the kids having to run 3,000 directions it's a wonder my hair doesn't turn gray faster. Are you simply a fan of Jesus or are you really in the game? Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1. Friday, October 10, 2008. Tonight was such a blast! We all had a fantastic time playing bunco and dressing up! Our host made a wonderful dinner and had her house decorated so festive for Halloween and Fall! I won 2nd place which was AMAZING! I had the bunco prize up until the last roll and lost it to another player! I'm okay with that though. I love my 2nd place prize! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
