Olivia Anne Designs: Whew - It's finished!
http://oliviaannedesigns.blogspot.com/2013/03/whew-its-finished.html
Monday, March 4, 2013. Whew - It's finished! Let me take you on a tour of the finished room! Here's where I store all of my bolts of fabric. I'll use the drafting table when I start working on the new quilt that is running around in my head. The black table is my die cutting station. The contraption on the wall between the quilt and the art shelf is my AC/heating unit. Here's a picture that shows my awesome cutting table! I'm so glad you're here! Welcome to my new blog! Olivia Anne Designs: November 2012
http://oliviaannedesigns.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Earlier this month, we started the construction of my new sewing room! To prepare for this addition, I've had to dig up and/or transplant all of my flowers and plants around the back side of our house. Since our initial starting date was the last two weeks of September, I chose to do this during the "coolest" days I could find in July and August. More pictures and details to come soon! Olivia Anne Designs: November 2011

Friday, November 4, 2011. Ollie the Ornament Dress - Part 2. In my last blog, I covered how I did the front of my Ollie the Ornament dress. Today, I’m going to show you how I did the back of the dress. Remember, I chose a pattern that buttoned down the back. On a large piece of paper, draw a left back and a right back using the original pattern piece. I used my ruler to draw the straight edges and short dashed lines to draw the curves. This is the dashed red line shown in the pictures. Temporarily tape t...

Olivia Anne Designs: What a difference a few weeks make!
http://oliviaannedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/12/what-difference-few-weeks-make.html
Monday, December 17, 2012. What a difference a few weeks make! It's been 2 weeks since I last showed you the progress on my new sewing room - that's because the results of that first week weren't very obvious. That's not the case now! They are pretty much finished outside with the construction work. It only needs paint, electrical plugs, light fixtures and gutters. I don't know if you can tell from my pictures that my new sewing room is BIG! If you are interested in a specific class, just let me know.

Olivia Anne Designs: My husband's toy box!
http://oliviaannedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/08/my-husbands-toy-box.html
Friday, August 17, 2012. My husband's toy box! Several years ago when my in-laws were down-sizing, my mother-in-law JoAnn gave me the toybox that my husband used as a child. It wasn't anything to look at, but I'm a sucker for sentimental value! It was his and that made it special! It still has a home in my sewing room since it stores my personal sewing patterns and books. It is just so much prettier to look at now! I'm so glad you're here! Welcome to my new blog! Olivia Anne Designs: Patriotic Kitty!
http://oliviaannedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/07/patriotic-kitty.html
Monday, July 2, 2012. As a lot of you know, I run my business from my home. With as much fabric and merchandise as I have, I have had to be VERY creative at finding storage locations for it all - while still retaining the look of a home! I am in the process of sorting, clearing out, and making more space and I ran across an "unfinished object" (UFO). I don't have many UFOs and I decided it was time to finish this one. Pattern; I even had it quilted! All this UFO lacks is its binding! JoD Marie the Pig.

Olivia Anne Designs: October 2011

Thursday, October 27, 2011. Ollie the Ornament Dress. Whenever I make new sample garments, I always try to do something new and/or different. I don't like doing the same ol' thing! On a large piece of paper, draw a center front line. Tape the original pattern's center front line to this line on the paper. Draw one half of the pattern onto the large piece of paper. I use my ruler to draw the straight edges and short dashed lines to draw the curves. Along the curved edge of both pattern halves, I made a no...
